Position: Lead Frontend Engineer (Job Code: 1001)

Duties:
Responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of flexible user interfaces for multiple applications; work with product development teams to build internal and commercial web applications to grow business opportunities; brainstorming with Product Managers, Designers and other Engineers to conceptualize and build new applications and features for internal and external users; design, develop, and launch web applications used to make investment decisions from inception; lead technical discussions and drive decisions on user-interface architecture; experiment with products, libraries, and best practices to optimize user experience; simplify and optimize the user's workflow, allowing them to make quicker decision and monitor their portfolio with ease; build fast and responsive data visualizations to drive business insights; create and execute unit testing and performance testing for application stability; coordinate front-end team efforts and activities; utilize Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Angular, React, Redux, Mobx, Jest, Data Visualization, Workflow Automation, AG Grid and NPM to perform duties; create UI standards, patterns, and best practices in collaboration with Product and Design teams; coordinate and improve engineering quality across the software development team; write scalable code with Angular and React; and apply knowledge of web platforms including Web Components, Service Worker, and TypeScript, as well as reactive programming including DOM, HTML, and CSS3 to complete assigned tasks.

Salary: $175,000 per year (includes standard company benefits)

Location: New York, New York and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:  Masters –  Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Principal Developer, as a Senior Software Engineer, as a Technical Lead, as a Full-Stack Developer, as a Vice President, or in a related occupation

Training: None

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of the following: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Typescript, React, Data Visualization, Workflow Automation, AG Grid and Mobx.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
