Foresight’s Portfolio Monitoring is the company’s data-driven portfolio analytics product, built for Finance, IR, and Ops teams to have all their data about every PortCo and every fund in one place. Foresight integrates with your accounting system and every cap table vendor, and enables flexible, sophisticated analysis and seamless sharing across the firm so that everyone can make better decisions.

Your Opportunity

We are, first and foremost, seeking someone who deeply understands the private markets and VC & PE concepts. As a member of our customer success team focusing on the portfolio monitoring product, you will have an opportunity to work with some of the most sophisticated and top-tier Venture Capital and Private Equity investors in the world.

In a fast-growing, entrepreneurial atmosphere, you will work closely with customers during implementation and ongoing engagement. Your north star will be advising customers using Foresight to solve problems and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.

Specific accountabilities include:

Coordinate implementation for new clients and engage in tailoring Foresight to meet each client’s needs.
Work with product and engineering teams to determine solutions that best achieve client goals, including understanding our implementation process to ensure seamless onboarding and product rollout.
Track client requests, manage expectations, and deliver solutions to the clients on time.
Drive “Net Promoter Score” by helping customers solve their business needs with Foresight.
Solicit and prioritize feedback across the user base alongside the product team to drive new high-demand capabilities and enhancements to existing features.
Lead user education and training for existing client base.

Qualifications and Experience

Specific accountabilities include:

Knowledge of fund accounting and portfolio company accounting concepts applied in the private market industry. (e.g., fund waterfall mechanics, private company cap tables).
Understanding of private markets’ industry reporting standards.
Comfortable working with and analyzing large datasets.
Expert ability to communicate technical concepts with customers.
Can work independently within a small but rapidly growing team.
Familiar with customer success tools (e.g., Pendo).
3+ years of experience working in finance or with financial technology, required.
Understanding of data structures within accounting systems, preferred.
Preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Education

4-year BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

Starting Date

As soon as possible.
