About Foresight Data
Foresight Data is solving some of the most challenging data integration, data management, and data visualization problems in the private investment markets industry with a revolutionary product that brings together investment sourcing, deal management, portfolio management, and finance capabilities in one end-to-end platform.
Foresight Portfolio gives CFOs, finance teams, Managing Partners, and deal teams a unified view of fund and company performance. It integrates accounting/GL data, CRM, cap tables, and operating financials/KPIs into a single analytics layer that goes beyond precise accounting to reveal patterns and insights—connecting deal-level details (rounds, ownership, co-investors), company performance history (metrics, valuation trends, fundraising trajectory), and strategic context (dilution, pro rata/ownership trajectory) to support investor decision-making and forward-looking action.
Your Opportunity
As Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of this product line and act as its GM. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, customer success, and sales to define the roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure the product delivers exceptional value to our customers. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, reporting directly to the CEO and giving you exposure to leading private equity, private credit, and venture firms and their finance leaders.
In this role, you’ll:

Own the product strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for Foresight Portfolio, aligned to customer outcomes.

Build CFO-grade portfolio and fund reporting across fund, firm, and company levels.

Create AI-driven, forward-looking analytics—forecasting, scenario/sensitivity analysis, cohort/trend views, contribution/attribution, and dilution/pro rata/ownership trajectory—so teams know when to lean in or hold back.

Use AI to extract, analyze, and unlock data for customers: ingest/normalize files, map to a canonical model, resolve entities, detect anomalies, and enable natural-language questions with narrative and visual answers.

Work directly with CFOs, controllers, finance/ops, and investment teams to gather feedback and drive adoption and usage.

Stay ahead of portfolio analytics standards, valuation practices, reporting requirements, and emerging BI/AI capabilities in private markets.
Responsibilities
Specific accountabilities include:

Define and maintain the Portfolio roadmap with the CEO and leadership team.

Partner with engineering to scope features, write clear user stories and product specs, and guide delivery through agile cycles.

Design analytics UX: AI-native question systems, natural-language interactive dashboards, report builders, assumptions and scenario controls, and export/packaging for LP and GP needs.

Establish and monitor product KPIs (data coverage & timeliness, report usage, decision impact, adoption, NPS).

Ensure data quality, permissions/row-level security, auditability, and governance appropriate for financial workflows.

Partner with marketing on positioning, demos, and enablement to drive understanding and usage.

Serve as the internal and external evangelist for Foresight Portfolio.
Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2+ years working on data products, financial technology, or sourcing/research tools for private equity, venture capital, or investment banking.

Strong understanding of private markets portfolio analytics (IRR, DPI, dilution trajectory) and portfolio KPI frameworks.

Knowledge of fund accounting data and private market investment transactions (capital calls/distributions, valuations, pro forma cap tables, convertible notes, etc.).

Vision for using AI to extract and analyze data and unlock data for clients (NLQ, narrative insights, anomaly detection).

Proven ability to write high-quality requirements, partner closely with engineering, and manage complex projects with competing priorities.

Comfortable engaging directly with senior finance leaders and investment teams to shape the roadmap.
